Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is VA786-15-Q-0228 and is issued as a Request for Quotations. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-82. The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 237110 with a small business size standard of $36.5M. This requirement is a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside (SDVOSB) concerns, and only qualified offers from SDVOSB concerns will be considered for possible contract award. Interested parties can submit quotes on the attached SF 1449. Please reference 52.212-1 for solicitation submission instructions. Questions regarding this announcement shall be directed to Mr. Derek C. Reed, Contracting Officer, 155 Van Gordon Street, Lakewood, CO 80228. Questions and quotes can be emailed to derek.reed@va.gov. The deadline for receipt of questions is June 15, 2015-4:00PM MT and the deadline for receipt of quotes is June 22, 2015- 2:00 PM MT. Quoters must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) https://www.sam.gov to be eligible to receive award. In addition, quoters must have an active account and be registered in www.vetbiz.gov. The purchase order performance period will is 60 calendar days after notice to proceed. Please contact the Houston National Cemetery located at 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, TX 77038, Mr. Mr. James Parzych at (281) 447-8686 to schedule a job-walk or site visit. Quoters are encouraged to visit the site to familiarize themselves with current conditions. The Government intends to issue a single award to the lowest priced responsible quoter. The Contracting Officer for this acquisition is Mr. Derek C. Reed who can be contacted at (303) 914-5710, or via email at derek.reed@va.gov. It is the offeror's responsibility to furnish all information as required by the RFQ. All work will be performed at the Houston National Cemetery in accordance with the attached specifications, scope of work and drawings. All responsible sources may submit a quote that may be considered by this agency.
