Description

The U.S. Geological Survey intends to award a non-competitive purchase order to Illumina, Inc located in San Diego, California for service agreement for an Illumina MiSeq Sequencer, to be performed at the USGS Leetown Science Center, Fish Health Branch (FHB) in Kearneysville, West Virginia. The period of performance is June 11, 2015 to June 10, 2016. There are three one-year option periods. Illumina, Inc is the sole proprietor and only known distributor of this service for this equipment in the United States. In accordance with FAR 5.207, all responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal or quotation which shall be considered by the agency, however, THIS NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. The Government intends to award this requirement noncompetitively in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). Email responses to jvalliere@usgs.gov. The NAICS code is 811219. The size standard is $20.5 million. The anticipated award date of the contract is 06/11/2015. The anticipated contract will be firm fixed-price. A vendor must be registered at https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/ to be awarded the contract.
