Description

THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Smithsonian Institution's National Museum of African American History and Culture ("NMAAHC") engaged the firm of Linder & Associates in 2013 to provide professional, technical, non-personal event planning and consulting services for the Phase I: Planning Phase of the Opening of the Museum. It is now NMAAHC's intent to modify this contract to add work associated with the actual opening events to include, among other work: Pre-Event Logistics, Subcontracting of vendors, On site logistics, venue management, on-site logistics, technical production, food and beverage management, speaker support, volunteer management, and security management. These services will be provided for events in November of 2015 and for the museum opening. The value of the Contract with Modification will be $590,000 but will be subject to change as subcontracts are added. POTENTIAL VENDORS MAY REACH OUT TO LINDER AND ASSOCIATES FOR POSSIBLE SUBCONTRACTING OPPORTUNITIES.
