- The Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs (ICE) Office of Acquisition Management (OAQ) Dallas, TX 7 5247, intends to solicit from a single source under the authority of FAR 13.106 to Caribbean School Inc, 1689 Calle Navarra, Ponce, Puerto Rico 00730. This procurement is being conducted under simplified acquisition procedures. This requirement cannot be competed because the Government can only reimburse tuition fees to schools that have been designated as Domestic Dependent Elementary and Secondary Schools (DDESS) Special Arrangement Schools by the Department of Defense Education Activity. There is only one DDESS Special Arrangement School (Caribbean School Inc) in the Ponce, Puerto Rico area. The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 13.106. This notice is for information purposes only and is not a request for quotation. No solicitation document is available and telephone, fax, or e-mail requests will not be honored. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice. A determination not to compete this proposed contract based on this notice is within the discretion of the Government.
