- Market Survey for Project: quote mark Construct MEDDAC Medical Supply Storage Building, Camp Zama, Japan. quote mark The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Japan Engineer District (JED) is performing a market survey for a Design-Bid-Build (D-B-B) Construction Project titled: quote mark Construct MEDDAC Medical Supply Storage Building, Camp Zama, Japan. quote mark This announcement constitutes a market survey that is being conducted for planning purposes only and the information received will assist the Government in developing an acquisition method for this project. This notice does not constitute a commitment by the Government for any follow-on announcements, solicitation, or award. Pursuant to Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 10, Market Research, the purpose of this notice is to identify sources capable of satisfying the Government's requirement. This survey seeks qualified and capable contractors to submit responses to this notice in order to adequately plan the acquisition. If your company would like to be considered as a potential source for this work, please submit a response adhering to the below submission requirements. PROJECT DESCRIPTION Project Title: quote mark Construct MEDDAC Medical Supply Storage Building, Camp Zama, Japan. quote mark Project Location: Japan North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236220 Project price magnitude is between 50,000,000 YEN and 100,000,000 YEN (utilizing a 100 YEN to 1 U.S. dollar rate) Project scope includes all work to construct a Medical Supply Storage Building. The work include convert existing open 3-stall ambulance parking structure into an enclosed, temperature controlled (dual AC) building for storage of Class VII assemblage materials and various emergency vaccines (Ebola and Pandemic Influenza), etc. The new storage structure will need to be equipped with plumbing (drain and condensate only), communication lines, and power outlets. Electrical will need to be connected into the main building's back-up generator. This market survey is intended for local sources only. Local sources are those sources physically located and licensed to conduct business in Japan. Firms interested and capable of performing this work are highly encouraged to submit a response. SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS FOR RESPONSES TO THIS MARKET SURVEY (1) Name of your company, address, phone number, email, and point of contact. (2) A statement of intent from your company, that should this project be formally solicited, you will submit a price proposal. (3) Letter from your insurance (surety) company stating that your firm has adequate bonding capacity within the project magnitude of 50,000,000 YEN and 100,000,000 YEN (4) Statement of capability from your company, identifying applicable skills, experience, knowledge, past performance, and equipment required to perform this project. Limit this statement of capability to no more than five (5) pages in length. The type of solicitation issued and the manner of advertisement may depend on the responses to this market survey. If you do not intend on submitting a bid for this work if it is formally advertised, please do not submit a response to this market survey.
