This is a pre-solicitation notice synopsizing the upcoming release of a request for proposal (RFP) solicitation for a services contract- NO RESPONSE TO THIS SYNOPSIS IS REQUIRED The Lebanon VAMC, located in Lebanon, PA, will be issuing a solicitation for the provision of Durable Medical Equipment (DME) Services for Lebanon VAMC's Prosthetic & Sensory Aids Service. The DME Services are considered to be commercial services and will generally consist of providing a comprehensive DME program furnishing all necessary labor, equipment, tools, materials, transportation, training, reports, and facilities necessary for the pick-up, delivery, cleaning, installation, repair (when required) and storage of DME items and also includes providing end user-level education regarding the proper use of the DME item being issued to the patient. The DME services will be provided for Veteran patients within Lebanon VAMC's service area which includes: AREA OF COVERAGE FOR THE LEBANON VA: The contractor shall provide services to the area of coverage as specified below for the Lebanon VA Medical Center, 1700 South Lincoln Avenue, Lebanon, PA. 17042. The following is a list of the counties in the State of Pennsylvania that shall be provided service under the terms and conditions of this contract: Adams Juniata Perry York Berks Lancaster Schuylkill Union Cumberland Lebanon Snyder Dauphin Northumberland This acquisition will be totally set-aside for small business competition under NAICS code 621610, Home Health Services; the U. S. Small Business Administration's (SBA) size standard for this NAICS code is $14 million. The intended contract will be a single-award, 5-year Indefinite-Quantity contract. The targeted RFP release timeframe is Middle June 2015. The targeted start date for the provision of the DME Services is October 1, 2015.
