Description
Q&A Document W912HN-15-T-0025-Inverter Description of Requirement: The Savannah District of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers requests the supply of a 20kVA Inverter. The Station critical AC system consists of one 15kVA inverter fed from the plant 125VDC and 120VAC systems. Under normal operation the inverter is fed by the plant 125VDC system. The 125VDC system consists of two filtered output battery chargers and a 1010Ah lead-acid battery connected to a DC distribution board. The inverter is connected to the DC distribution board as a load. As the inverter's normal output is created from the inverted DC, loss of the non-essential AC does not interrupt service to the station critical AC. In the event the station DC is lost the inverters automatically swap to the AC feed. This request for proposal is for the supply of a 20kVA inverter with "N+1" redundancy to replace the existing 15kVA Solid-State Controls, Inc. inverter. The new inverter shall be capable of operating in the manner described above and meet the requirements set forth in the Statement of Work. *******PLEASE SEE ATTACHED COMBINED SOLICITATION/SYNOPSIS FOR FULL REQUIREMENTS******* ***Please see attached Q&A document with verification on the port needed and any other questions that are asked will be added here***
