Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Ann Arbor VA Medical Center, 2215 Fuller Road, Ann Arbor, MI - Intent to Sole Source procurement under authority of FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source, with the University of Michigan to provide services in support of a custom Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system to be used by the Research Department at this facility. These services include the set-up, hosting, production, and management of the IVR applications. The University of Michigan is the only vendor that has the hosting server necessary to support the IVR. Without the University of Michigan Academic Computing Center, the research cannot be conducted. The proposed action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source. The Government believes that only one responsible source can provide the services that will satisfy the agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation document is available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any qualified vendor that determines that determines it can meet the government's requirements may give written notification through email to Contract Specialist, Kelly Poole, Kelly.Poole@va.gov by June 4, 2015, 11:00am EST. Any information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement for any future needs of this sort. VA Medical Center, Ann Arbor, MI will proceed to sole source this requirement to the University of Michigan who is the current contractor supporting this IVR system.
