- This is a sources sought notice and should not be construed as a solicitation announcement. The submission of this announcement is for the purposes of compliance with FAR 5.205. It is not to be construed as a commitment by the government to procure or compete for any services or supplies. The Naval Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station Atlantic (NCTAMS LANT) is seeking marketing information, from responsible sources to gain knowledge of potential qualified business sources capable of providing the following same or similar items: Procurement of Circuit Breaker ABB EMAX X1 Model X1NC3FWE0AAAA0BB, 1600 Amp Frame Draw out, with a certification, QTY 0001 EACH for NCTL Detachment Rota, Spain. The above equipment is manufactured by ABB LTD, NEW BERLIN, WI 53151. This is a JUSTIFICATION FOR BRAND NAME ONLY. The request is for the Original Equipment (OEM) to ABB LTD and the circuit breaker cannot be substituted. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) considered for this effort is: 335313 SWITCHGEAR AND SWITCHBOARD APPARATUS MANUFACTURING, the SBA business size is 750Emp. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, catalog, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the NCTAMS LANT office. Product and company information, and CAGE code must be submitted email to pamela.gregorczyk@navy.mil. Submission shall be received by 4:00 PM, Eastern Time, 5 June 2015 and shall not exceed one (1) 8-1/2 x 11 page for company information and one (1) 8-1/2 x 11 page for each individual item. This synopsis is only for market research purposes. This RFI does not constitute a request for proposal nor does it restrict the Government as to the ultimate acquisition approach. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs incurred in preparation of response to this notice. All data received in response to this RFI marked or designated as corporate or proprietary will be fully protected from release outside the U.S. Government.
