Description

DESCRIPTION: This is a sources sought to determine the availability of potential sources having the skills and capabilities necessary to perform/provide the SPECIFIED REQUIREMENT. All interested vendors are invited to provide information to contribute to this market survey/sources sought synopsis only. Questions should be submitted by email to Bridget.Kornish@va.gov. Provide only the requested information below. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification (Service Disabled/Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB/VOSB), Hub-zone, 8(a), small, small disadvantage, woman-owned small business, or large business) relative to NAICS 333999 All Other Miscellaneous Fabricated Metal Product Manufacturing. Responses to this synopsis will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. After review of the responses to this sources sought synopsis, a solicitation announcement may be published on the FBO website. Responses to this sources sought synopsis are not considered adequate responses to any future solicitation announcements. All interested offerors will have to respond to the solicitation announcement in addition to responding to this sources sought announcement. VHA PCO-East is seeking sources for a Firm Fixed price award contract to procure the following: Rack & Cage Washer: 1EA "The machine must have a two compartment chamber and cannot have a total size larger than 84" wide x 104" H x 200" L. "Must be pit mounted requiring a pit size of 86" wide by 201" long by 12" deep. "Must have the ability to utilize as a single or double deep unit, giving the user the ability to cut energy and water consumption virtually in half when a full double washer is not necessary. "The unit must contain an automatic bar swinging door separator which divides the unit in half while in cycle; double doors for pass through operation; stainless steel insulated construction, stainless steel recirculating components and piping; stainless steel steam heating coils; two stainless steel 10hp treatment pumps; "Must be constructed from stainless steel materials "Dual carriage oscillating jet sprayer systems, which supplies water through all jets 100% of the time. "Automatic self-cleaning screen "Temperature must reach at least 180 degrees " Incoming utility gauges on all utilities; illuminated wash compartments; personal safety features; pneumatically operated valves and components; touch screen micro-computer control system; 12 programmable automatic multi-phase treatment "Automatic exhaust damper; heat exchanger; drain discharge cool down - injected; printer; barrier wall flange; Factory programmed software restoration kit; "Provide a 12-30 minute wash cycle time. Cage & Bottle Washer: 1 EA "Must have a compartment size of no larger than 48"wide x31"high x48"deep with total external dimensions of 76" wide x 82" high x 52" deep. "Must have pass through "Vertical sliding doors "10-phase treatment cycles Responses must be emailed to Bridget.Kornish@va.gov no later than 12 Noon EST, June 9, 2015. Your response should include both the STATEMENT OF CAPABILITY and BUSINESS SIZE AND SOCIO-ECONOMIC STATUS information as explained below. This notice is to assist the Cincinnati VAMC with determining sources only. A SOLICITATION IS NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE. If a solicitation is issued it will be announced at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement.
