- PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE: The VA National Acquisition Center intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) for an unrestrictive procurement for Dietary Supplement Products, Tube Feeding Products, and Thickeners and Pre-thickened Beverages. Resultant contract(s) will be Indefinite Delivery-Requirements type contract(s) lowest priced, technically acceptable. Contract(s) are anticipated to be for a one-year base period, with four one-year pre-priced option periods. Further details will be provided in the Request for Proposals (RFP) to inform interested Offerors of an overview of the type of contract to be awarded. The RFP is anticipated to be posted on or about June 10, 2015 on FedBizOpps (FBO) website: http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The due date for submission of proposals in response to the RFP is anticipated to be on or about June 30, 2015. Information in the anticipated RFP supersedes any information in this pre-solicitation announcement. This acquisition has been designated as full and open competition under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 311999. Any questions concerning this announcement must be submitted by email to Bonita.Smith@va.gov Contracting Officer. The reference number to be used for this announcement is: RFP VA797P-15-R-0067. All correspondence must cite the reference number as provided. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is, in fact, unable to maintain a bidder's mailing list. It is therefore the responsibility of interested parties to periodically access http://www.fedbizopps.gov in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of proposals may render your proposal non-responsive and result in the rejection of your proposal. This is not an RFP and this announcement does not commit the Government to award a contract.
