- Synopsis: This is a request for information (RFI) only. All information received will be used for planning purposes. It shall not be considered as an Invitation for Bids (IFB), Request for Quotations (RFQ), or Request for Proposals (RFP), or as an obligation on the part of the Government to respond, or to acquire any products or services. No entitlement to payment of direct or indirect costs or charges by the Government will arise as a result of contractor submission of responses to this synopsis to the Government for use of such information. Not responding to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future RFP, if issued. If a solicitation is issued, it will be synopsized on the Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) website. It is the responsibility of any potential offeror to monitor FedBizOpps for additional information pertaining to this requirement. The Army Contracting Command-Redstone, on behalf of the Precision Fires Rocket and Missile Systems (PFRMS) Project Office, Program Executive Office Missiles and Space, hereby release this RFI to ascertain the level of interest of potential vendors desiring to contract for the manufacturing and procuring of the Hydraulic Servicing Unit (HSU) and all related parts required for the High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) and M270A1 configurations in accordance with (IAW) drawing 13214911. This HSU shall perform IAW requirements of MIS-49205B Performance Specification. A not-to-exceed unit quantity of 133 HSUs is needed to support the fielded HIMARS and M270A1 launcher fleet. Interested firms who believe they are capable of providing the above mentioned items are invited to indicate their interest by providing: a)Company name, company address, overnight delivery address (if different from mailing address), Cage Code, point of contact, e-mail address, telephone number, fax number; b)Business size (i.e. large, small disadvantaged, veteran owned, woman owned, etc...) c)Affirmation of cleared personnel All responses shall be unclassified. All assumptions, including any assumed Government support, shall be clearly identified. All proprietary and restricted information shall be clearly marked. Submittal Instructions: Interested sources will provide a white paper describing their recommended strategies. Responses must be in compliance with all applicable Army, DoD, and Federal policies. All responses shall be transmitted electronically to deanna.l.desarro.civ@mail.mil Required Format: Unclassified white paper Standard 8 X 11 size Not less than 12 point font Not more than 20 pages including cover letter May include up to five attachments consisting of briefing slides, pre-printed commercial brochures or sales literature. Label any information contained in the white paper that is considered proprietary. Electronic submissions are strongly encouraged. Microsoft Word format or Adobe PDF format and should be free of all computer viruses. The closing date for this RFI is 19 June 2015. All material submitted in the response to this RFI must be unclassified and properly marked. Submissions will not be returned.
