- REQUEST FOR INFORMATION COVER SHEET PERFORMANCE WORK STATEMENT (PWS) The Marine Corps Installations Command West, Regional Contracting Office is publicizing this SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE in order to gather industry information and input from qualified and interested sources with respect to a potential Firm-Fixed Price award for Simulation System Training in support of Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron (MAWTS-1), Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS), Yuma AZ Simulated Aviation Weapons and Tactics Training. No solicitation is being issued at this time. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP) or Invitation for Bid (IFB), and shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract. Responses will not be considered as proposals, nor will any award be made as a result. The Marine Corps will not be responsible for any costs incurred by interested parties in responding to this notice. Any future solicitation, including specifications and/or drawings, will be made available only on the Federal Business Opportunities website (https://www.fbo.gov/). Interested Parties are solely responsible for monitoring the aforementioned website for the release of a solicitation package and/or any updates and/or amendments. The government is seeking to identify qualified, experienced, and interested potential businesses capable of performing the type of services as described in the Performance Work Statement that is attached. The envisioned service to be provided would consist of providing the equipment, tools, materials, supervision, other items, and non-personal services necessary to support modeling and simulation as defined in the PWS for Simulated Aviation Weapons and Tactics Training at MCAS Yuma, AZ. The purpose of this Request for Information (RFI) is to gain information from qualified and interested sources with experience relative to the anticipated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 541511 / Applications software programming services, custom computer, with a size standard of $25,500,000. All interested parties are invited to respond and must be currently registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database ( http://www.sam.gov/ ). The information requested by this RFI will be used within the Marine Corps to facilitate decision making and will not be disclosed outside the agency. Should a future requirement evolve from this preliminary planning process, it is anticipated that Firm-Fixed Price contract will be awarded. If your firm has an interest in proposing on future requirements as described above, please prepare and transmit a Capability Statement to Staff Sergeant Marina A. Simmons addressed to MCI-WEST Regional Contracting Office, Attention SSgt Marina A. Simmons, BOX 555027, CAMP PENDLETON, CA 92055, or through electronic mail (e-mail) at marina.simmons@usmc.mil or fax to (760) 725-4346, not later than 4:00 PM PST, 8 June, 2015. If emailing your response, please note that due to increased firewall protections some emails may be blocked; therefore, follow-up via telephone (if an acknowledgement is not received back via email) is strongly recommended to ensure receipt of your submission by the Government. Request Capability Statements address the following: 1. Company name, address, point of contact (POC), telephone number, fax number, email address, CAGE Code, DUNS Number, and GSA schedules held. 2. Identify how your company can specifically meet the requirement to provide the equipment required to conduct the Weapons and Tactics Training outlined in the Performance Work Statement in paragraph 5. Task 1. 3. Identify how your company can specifically meet the requirement to provide the services support required to conduct the Weapons and Tactics Training outlined in the Performance Work Statement in paragraph 6. Task 2. 4. Identify if your company is able to engage in this type of service immediately or if this service will require development upon award. For the purpose of this inquiry, subject dates are 15 July 2015. However, for future requirements, please provide a realistic timeframe your company will be ready to perform the required services and software.
