Description

The Department of Veteran Affairs, National Cemetery Administration (NCA) intends to award a sole source contract to the Toro Company. The statutory authority permitting the acquisition of this requirement by other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), FAR Subpart 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements." This requirement is for purchase of one GSA Contract GS-07F-5432R, one each of the following: 07390- Toro Workman SBCC- Casket Transporter Swivel Base (open market) 07391-4Wheel Drive Kit (Workman HDX Auto) 07378- 4-Post ROPS HD & HDX 07349- Cab Heater 07392- Cab Canopy, and ROPS 07393- Door Kit This is a sole source notice published for informational purposes and is not a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a Request for Proposal (RFP). No solicitation documents exist for this requirement and this notice is not to be construed as a commitment by the government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation. However, all responsible parties interested in responding to this notice are invited to submit a capability statement, including costs that provide sufficient details for consideration by the Government. Responses must be received by Monday, June 8, 2015 3:00pm. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice and telephone inquiries will not be accepted. Responses received will be considered; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
