Description
The response date has been extended to June 12, 2015. In addition, questions have been submitted that indicate a possible need for clarity in regard to the intended use of Attachment A (GPO's current 249-S contract). The attached contract contains a description of the requirements that had been anticipated when the contract was awarded in 2012, over 3 years ago. Requirements have changed significantly during this time period. In any case that the RFI requirements appear to be in conflict with what the contract had specified, the description in the RFI takes precendence. For example, if calculations using the attached contract appear to indicate that 73% of the checks ordered on the current contract were to expected to be in Format H, the projection stated in the contract may not have been realized. Follow the RFI for guidance about the future state of the Treasury Check product. The RFI accurately describes that in the future 95% of the checks are likely to be ordered in Format H. Responders should use the RFI for specific guidance in determining whether your company would be a capable source to produce anticipated future orders, including meeting all mandatory mininimum requirements. Responders should use the attached contract to review the previously specified requirements (security, paper, ink, design, delivery, etc) in their entirety in order to identify and describe any recommended changes.
