Description

Amendment 0001 is issued to add an additional site visit date to accomadate offerors that may not be able to attend the original dates. A site vist is Mandatory for this solicitation. An additional date is added for June 10, 2015 at 9:00 AM EDT. Follow the same procedures to attend as highlighted below and in the solicitation. Proposals are being requested and this solicitation DTFAEN-15-R-00094 is being issued as a Request for Proposals (RFP). If downloading is not possible, all requests for copies of the document(s) must be made in writing to the attention of Karina Espinosa, Contracting Officer, via e-mail at karina.espinosa@faa.gov FAA has a requirement for the Refurbishment of four elevators in the Air Traffic Control Tower and Base Building located at Hartsfield- Jackson International Airport located at 1106 M. H. Jackson Service Road Atlanta, GA 30354-3711 Performance time for the entire project is 180 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed (NTP). The Primary NAICS code is 238290 Other Building Equipment Contractors Size Standards in Millions “ $15.0 Million This requirement is offered as a Total Small Business set aside. MANDATORY SITE VISIT Site visits must be arranged during normal duty hours and can be coordinated by contacting: Alessio Loreti, P.E. Terminal Engineering Center - Atlanta Phone: (404) 389-8584 Cell: (239) 537-3799 There will be a Mandatory Site Visit on Tuesday, June 2nd at 9:00AM and on Wednesday, June 3rd at 9:00AM. Offerors are only required to attend one site visit. Please provide Company Name, full names of all attendees and date you will be attending when contacting the POC. In Order to be eligible for award, offerors shall attend one of the scheduled site visits. All Requests for Information (RFI) must be emailed to the Contracting Officer (karina.espinosa@faa.gov) no later than ten days prior to the close of the solicitation at 5:00 PM Eastern Time (ET) Potential offerors should note that the FAA reserves the right to communicate with one or more offerors at any time during the SIR process To be considered for award of this project, the contractor must be currently registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database (website: www.sam.gov). All proposals must be received no later than July 2, 2015, at 5:00 PM EDT. Any responses received after the closing date and time, will not be considered in accordance with AMS provision 3.2.2.3-14, Late Submissions, Modifications, and Withdrawals of Submittals. Magnitude of Construction Projects: The estimated construction price if between $600,000 and $800,000.
