Description
This is NOT a solicitation announcement. This is a Sources Sought Notice only. The purpose of this sources sought synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classifications (Service Disabled Veteran-Owned, Veteran-Owned Small Business, Women Owned Small Business, HubZone 8(a), 8(a), HubZone, Small Business, Emerging Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) and Large Business). The U.S. Army Contracting Command - Rock Island (ACC-RI) is seeking sources for a visitor management kiosk registration system. A "visitor management kiosk registration system" is defined as a terminal featuring specialized hardware and software which facilitates the visitor check-in process at a specific location. The required specifications for the visitor management kiosk system are: 1. Touch-screen check-in which issues visitor ticket 2. Queuing system which will visually and audibly notify next individual waiting in line 3. Capability to set appointments online, via text, or via phone call (referred to as "queue by phone / online") 4. Stand-alone - The Army will NOT provide communications or internet connections for the system, nor will any open WiFi connection be allowed. 5. Queuing monitoring to be performed through webpage. *Note: The business interface must NOT require installation of software. 6. Access to business interface must be secure. The user must require a user name and password to access the website to monitor the queuing. Customer must have the ability to add, delete, and change permissions to interface. 7. Minimum 1-year warranty covering repair, adjustment, and/or replacement of defective parts without additional charge (besides cost of warranty). If the equipment is replaced, the original warranty must cover the new equipment. 8. Initial systems training must be provided along with training materials 9. Must be ADA/handicap compliant for wheelchair bound individuals 10. Safe height requirements 29' minimum to 36' maximum 11. Multiple language functionality 12. Floor mounted 13. Minimum LCD screen size 42' 14. System must be able to generate tracking reports ACC-RI requests documentation of capability by interested parties through submittal of a brief capability statement. All capability statements should: 1. Not exceed and will be restricted up to eight (8) pages. 2. Shall be electronically submitted to the email address below. 3. Include small business classification (s): (Service Disabled Veteran-Owned, Veteran-Owned Small Business, Women Owned Small Business, HubZone 8(a), 8(a), HubZone, Small Business, Emerging Small Business, Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) and Large Business. 4. Include CAGE code or DUNS number of respective company ACC-RI intends to consider all comments and responsive qualification packages when developing its final acquisition strategy and resulting solicitation(s). The synopsis, amendments and other information related to this sources sought as well as any subsequent procurement notifications will be posted on www.fbo.gov. All interested parties should check these sites frequently for updates. Please submit all Capability Statements by 3:00 PM CST on June 8, 2015 by email to Phillip.j.peters10.civ@mail.mil This is a source sought request which may be used for planning purposes and should not be construed as a Request for Quote or as an obligation on the part of the Government. The Government does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this request or otherwise pay for the information solicited. ACC-RI will only utilize the information you provide in developing its acquisition approach for future requirements.
