- 225' WLB CLASS PROCUREMENT SPECIFICATION GRAY WATER TRANSFER PUMP ASSEMBLY The US Coast Guard Surfaces Forces Logistics Center (SFLC) In-Service Vessel Sustainment (ISVS) Section is seeking sources to procure a Motor Driven Positive Displacement Pump and associated equipment onboard the 225' WLB Class Buoy Tenders to service the ship's gray water. The pump shall have a minimum flow rate of 88 GPM, minimum discharge pressure of 90 PSI and suction lift capability of at least 20 feet. The motor must be IEEE-45 Marine Duty. Assembly shall consist of bronze external housing and stainless steel internal materials. The system will be delivered to the CG Yard in Baltimore, MD for installation by the government. This will be a firm, fixed price requirements contract for the estimated quantity of 9 ship sets (consisting of 1 pump/motor assembly per set) that will be delivered over the life of the project. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 333911, Pump and Pumping Equipment Manufacturing and the associated small business size standard is 500 employees. This sources-sought announcement is a tool to assist the Government with market research to identify businesses with the capability to accomplish the work. This is not a solicitation. Sources interested in responding to this Sources Sought Notice shall submit the following information: 1) Capability statement expressing interest in this requirement, describing your company and its capability to complete a project of this scope, magnitude and complexity (current or past technical experience.) Include a statement detailing any special qualifications and certifications, applicable to the scope of this project, held by your firm and/or in-house personnel. Include a list of projects with descriptions that are similar in nature to the Summary of Scope of Work. 2) Capability to complete design and fabrication work in house and anticipated percentage of outsourced work. 3) Statement of your firm's standard warranty. 4) Average delivery lead time. 5) Identification of your firm's business size and type (HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned, 8(a), woman-owned). If a company is a large business please consider providing any distributors or dealers for consideration. 6) Cage Code and DUNS number. 7) Reference list for each of the projects submitted in 1) above.
