- Description
- The purpose of this Amendment is to post Q&A as of 28 May 2015. The following question was submitted: Q1: Do we have to paint the 100' tall light poles to meet FAA standards for daylight obstruction marking? A1: Yes, contractor will need to paint 15'-0 quote mark tall bands (typical) of alternating aviation orange and aviation white for entire height of poles to address daylight obstruction visibility. Start with aviation orange at bottom 15' and work up from there. Paint will be compatible with surface to be painted and, meet FAA standards/specifications for color and compound, and require surface prep in accordance with paint manufacturers' recommendations.
