- Description
- A solicitation will be issued to provide the Air Force Review Boards Intake Operation, a geographically separated unit of the Air Force Review Boards Agency (SAF/MRB); serves as the application and records manangers consolidated intake source for processing and digitizing of all application requests to the Air Force Board for Correction of Military Records (AFBMCR), the Air Force Discharge Review Board (AFDRB), and the DoD Physical Disability Board of Review (PDBR). Air Force District of Washington (AFDW) Contracting Office (PKS) intends to issue an 8(a) Competitive Set-Aside solicitation. It is anticipated that the resulting contract/task order will have a period of performance for three (3) years; a base year and two (2)option years. The contract/task order will be Fixed Price with Cost Reimbursable (no fee) travel. A request for proposal (RFP), will be posted on FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) on or about June 26, 2015. Any amendments issued to the soliciation will also be made at the same website. This is an 8(a) competitive set-aside requirement and is limited to eligible 8(a) concerns. The NAICS Code for this proposed procurement is 541611 (Administrative Management and General Management). All responsible 8(a)sources may submit a proposal, which shall be considered by the agency (AFDW/PKS). Eligibility to participate is available to 8(a) firms in the developmental and transitional stages. Reference FBO for the posting of RFP even through the FAR encourages interested 8(a) firms to request a copy of the solicitation since a solicitation will be issued without further notice. SBA has accepted this requirement into the 8(a) program. The assigned SBA Requirement Number is " 0353/15/503378 ". The solicitation will be available to all eligible 8(a) firms and should be acquired from www.fbo.gov once it is posted. The scheduled soliciation due date will be approximatley thirty (30) days after the posting of the solicitation.
