Description

The Contractor shall provide all labor, supervision, engineering, design, materials, equipment, tools, parts, supplies, and transportation, to perform all of the services described in the plans and specifications. The project involves facilities repair and construction work in support of DISA equipment installation which includes new paralleling switchgear, new substation switchgear, and extending existing primary circuits to the new substation. Underground concrete vaults and concrete equipment supports at grade; ventilation for concrete vaults; selective building demolition of interior slab on grade and replacement of demolished items; supporting site work including excavation and disposal of soil, rock, grading, and paving; screen wall modifications. Electrical connections, duct bank, conduit, bus way, and cabling as required. Temporary generators will be utilized during the construction phase. Also work associated with replacing existing 5 generators with 4 new diesel engine generators. Replacement includes a new fuel treatment system and all required piping, connections, and equipment; replacing existing diesel fuel storage tank with new storage tank; new concrete equipment pads; and all other electrical connections, duct bank, conduit, and cabling as required. Work at this site is restricted to U.S citizens.
