Description
This Sources Sought announcement N62742-15-R-6715 is open to all businesses in the Southeast Asia area. It is issued to determine business capability and interest to construct a central training center, dining facility and barracks. This is not a solicitation for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement. There is no bid package or solicitation. All responses will be provided in writing via e-mail. No presentations will be scheduled. Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Pacific ROICC Thailand is seeking responses from business construction firms with interest and current relevant qualifications, experience, personnel, and capability to perform the work described below at Camp O ™Donnell, Tarlac, Philippines. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, with a Small Business Size Standard of $36.5 million. The contract is planned as a firm fixed priced contract. The magnitude of range per FAR 36.101 is $1,000,000 - $5,000,000. The work covered by this planned contract consists of: Design Build work for the construction of a central training center, dining facility and barracks at Camp O ™Donnell, Tarlac, Philippines. Work includes: (1) Central Training Center: Construct 2000 plus square meter two-story training center that includes a 200-person auditorium, 16 class rooms with a seating capacity of 384 persons, lounge/break areas, restrooms, offices, conference rooms, auditorium audio/visual room, reception area, storage, electrical and server rooms. The facility should be fully furnished; (2) Dining Facility: Construct 1600 plus square meter dining facility with a seating/feeding capacity of 650-1000 persons. The dining facility will consist of the dining area, circulation, restrooms, reception area, serving area, dish washing area, kitchen and food preparation areas, and support areas to include offices, kitchen staff locker rooms, janitorial closets, loading dock and storage rooms. The dining facility should be fully furnished; and (3) 300-man Barracks: Construct 2000 plus square meter two-story 300-person barracks with an open bay sleeping area, showers and grouped water closets. The barracks should be designed to be able to support both female and male personnel. The barracks common areas should include an administration/reception area, laundry facility, storage, janitorial closets and multi-purpose lounges. The barracks should be fully furnished. Interested businesses are invited to respond to this sources sought by completing and returning the response form provided with this announcement. Each responding business is requested to provide up to five (5) example projects which best demonstrate the company ™s experience relative to the types of work covered by this requirement in order for NAVFAC Pacific to determine there is sufficient number of qualified businesses to participate in this planned requirement. Example projects should be representative of NAICS 236220, the description above, and be similar in size, scope, and complexity to this requirement. Example projects completed within the past five (5)years are considered more relevant than projects completed more than five (5) years ago. Submission of more than five (5) example projects is not requested. When completing the response form, please take the time to complete the form sufficiently that NAVFAC Pacific can determine there are a sufficient number of qualified businesses available to participate in the planned solicitation. NAVFAC Pacific plans to issue the solicitation as full and open competition. Within the Narrative Description section of the response form, describe the projects sufficiently to demonstrate your firm ™s experience with the types of work described in the work description above. Respondents will NOT be notified individually of the results of the sources sought.
