- Description
- The Contracting Department, NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, VA, 23511-3392 intends to negotiate a Single Award, Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) provisions utilizing the procedures under FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in conjunction with FAR Part 15, Contracting by Negotiation. Navy Munitions Command (NMC) CONUS East Division (CED) requires qualified personnel to provide integrated logistics support, technical and ammunition handling services, including, workload, personnel, and fiscal analysis and management of Navy data systems. NMC CED requires ordnance operations and technical and administrative support services to execute projects in order to provide technical support for the mission. The service also includes support of the annual estimation samples and pre-explosive safety inspections, scanner training, basic ammunition sentencing training, and program management review. The period of performance shall be for a base year with provisions for four option years along with FAR 52.217-8 Option to Extend Services. The period of performance is anticipated to begin 24 August 2015. A complete RFQ package will be available by downloading the documents at the NECO Website as follows: http://www.neco.navy.mil or at http://www.fedbizopps.gov on or around 01 June 2015. Solicitation will be a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 541330 with a size standard of $15 million. Potential contractors are hereby notified that the solicitation and subsequent amendments to the solicitation will ONLY be available for download at the above sites; this office will no longer issue hard copy solicitations. By submitting an offer, the vendor is self-certifying that neither the requestor nor the principal corporate officials and owners are currently suspended, debarred, or otherwise ineligible to receive contracts from any federal agency. Failure to do so may represent grounds for refusing to accept the offer. By submission of an offer, the contractor acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee must be registered in the SAM database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation, except for awards to foreign vendors for work to be performed outside the United States.
