- The Naval Surface Warfare Center Carderock Division (NSWCCD) intends to issue Solicitation No. N00167-15-R-0005, Flexible Infrastructure Ship Sets for Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) Freedom Variant. The requirement is for a Contractor to provide all labor, equipment, materials, supervision, facilities and other items and services necessary to fabricate, test and deliver Flexible Infrastructure Ship sets for the Littoral Combat Ship (LCS) Freedom Variant. The NAICS code will be 332721, size standard is 500 employees. The FSC code will be 9999. The resultant contract will be a Firm Fixed Price (FFP), Indefinite-Delivery Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) Single Award Task Order Contract (SATOC), with a performance period of five years. The maximum quantity of FI Ship Sets to be ordered is fifteen (15) ship sets during the contract period. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued on or about June 2, 2015. Interested firms may view and/or download the solicitation and any amendments only from the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website at www.fbo.gov It is the prospective Offeror's responsibility to monitor the FBO website for changes to this notice, announcements, or amendments to the solicitation. Interested firms are advised to register in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov prior to submission of proposals. THIS PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE IS FOR THE PURPOSE OF INFORMING INDUSTRY THAT THE SOLICITATION WILL BE POSTED TO FEDBIZOPPS ON OR ABOUT JUNE 2, 2015. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. PROPOSALS SUBMITTED AS A RESULT OF THIS PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
