- This Sources Sought Notice is for informational and planning purposes only and shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation or commitment by the Government at this time. This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine interest and capability of potential qualifications of Small Businesses, including 8(a), Hub Zone and Service Disabled Veteran-Owned firms relative to the North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) 339112 (Sonosite Probe). The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System (VAPHS), University Drive Pittsburgh, Pa 15240 is seeking small business manufacturers, or distributors of small business manufacturers, of functionally equivalent equipment to all the following: P07698- P21X / 5-1 MHZ Transducer compatible probe -1 EA L04055- M series update Warranty coverage Interested sources are requested to submit an email delineating qualification, capabilities, and experience for providing this product. Please include your business size with your submittal. This is not a Request for Proposal or an announcement of a solicitation and no solicitation package exists at this time. Your responses will be used solely for market research purposes of the Government. The Government will not pay for any materials provided in response to this notice and submittals will not be returned to the sender. The applicable North American Classification System (NAICS) Code for this requirement is 339112 and the small business size standard is 500 Employees. Responses due are to be submitted by e-mail to Johnny.Barton@va.gov. The information requested must be received no later than Thursday 12:00 pm Eastern Standard Time on May 21, 2015.
