- SOLICITATION COVER LETTER The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) shall contemplate award of multiple fixed price indefinite-delivery indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contracts to two or more sources if determined to be in the best interest of the Government. In accordance with FAR 2.101, Multi-Agency Contracts, this solicitation includes a provision authorizing other law enforcement agencies to utilize the contract(s) on a case-by-case basis with prior approval. The contractor shall provide commercial "OFF THE SHELF" 5.56x45MM NATO/.223 REMINGTON service, training and reduced-led training ammunition compatible with weapons currently used by the FBI. The Government prefers offers include all requested line items; however, the Government will accept an offer for one, or more, requirements. The anticipated period of performance consists of one (1) base year and four (4) possible additional one-year options. Offers are to be received no later than 12:00 PM (EST) on September 3, 2015, to the attention of Jennifer R. Unger, Contracting Officer, Federal Bureau of Investigation, 170 Marcel Drive, Winchester, VA 22602 or Jennifer.Unger@ic.fbi.gov with reference to RFP-OSCU-DSU1502. The North American Industry Classification System code is 332992 with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. The awardee shall be registered in the System for Award Management at (www.sam.gov). The anticipated award date is on or December 1, 2015. The notice will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) Website (www.fedbizopps.gov).
