- This Request for Information (RFI) is seeking small businesses to provide, HVAC maintenance and services (base plus one option year) for the Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory (AOML), at 4301 Rickenbacker Causeway, Miami, FL 33149 is located on Virginia Key, Florida. AOML is a research facility owned by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA). The main building was commissioned in 1973 and consists of roughly 74,000 square feet of office, laboratory, workshop, machinery, and storage space. Work shall be performed in accordance with the attached statement of work. The NAICS code for this action is 238220. Size standard not to exceed $15M. Interested firms shall include, in writing, the company name, address, point of contact, telephone number, and business size; a statement regarding their capabilities and to provide the services. Submissions received in response to this request for information shall be evaluated based on the technical ability and demonstrated past experience to meet the requirements described in the statement of work. Interested persons should identify their interest and capabilities to respond to the requirement. Response should include experience with legacy HVAC equipment, experience with HVAC maintenance contracts, including federal facilities. This support service is being procured under the guidelines of FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and Part 12 Commercial Items. The Eastern Acquisition Division (EAD) requires that all contractors doing business with the Acquisition Office must be registered with the Systems for Award Management (SAM).
