Description

This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a sources sought synopsis only. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their business size classification (HUBZone, 8(a), Small Business, Small Disadvantage, Small Veteran Owned Business or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business) relative to NAICS Code: 624190- Counseling Services (Size Standard of $11 Million). Responses to this synopsis will be utilized by the Government to determine that appropriate procurement methodology. After review of the responses to this sources sought synopsis, a solicitation announcement may be published to the general public on the Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fbo.gov. Responses to this sources sought synopsis shall not be considered as a response to a solicitation. All interested offerors will respond as an interested party to this sources sought. The Department of Veteran Affairs, Network Contract Office-NCO7 is seeking sources for a potential contract to provide Counseling Services for veterans. The Lawrenceville Vet Center requesting an External clinical consultant who shall provide peer case reviews and guidance in the clinical treatment of complex and emergent Veteran cases. They assure a coordinated clinical response and quality review for Veteran suicides. External consultants must be VHA qualified mental health professional who is licensed in a state and appropriately credentialed and privileged through the VAMC. The Government intends to issue a five year contract to include a base year and four (4) additional one year option periods; which is to begin on or around July 1, 2015. If interested and are capable of providing the required services please provide the requested information: (1) Is your business small? (2) If small, does your company qualify as a small emerging business, or small disadvantage business? (3) If disadvantaged, specify under which disadvantaged group and if your company is certified under Section 8(a0 of the Small Business Act? (4) Is your company a certified, HUBZone company? (5) Is your company a woman-woman-owned business? (6) Is your company a certified Service-Disabled Veteran Owned? (7) Is your company a Veteran Owned Small Business? Small business concerns that are considering participation in this potential solicitation process under any Small Business Set-aside shall do so in accordance with the Small Business Act. Responses to this notice shall be e-mailed to the attention of: clifton.weldon2@va.gov. Telephone responses will not be accepted. Responses must be received no later than 4:30 p.m. on May 20, 2015. This notice is to assist in determining the availability of capable sources via the commercial industry only. A solicitation is not currently available. If a solicitation is issued it will be announced at a later date, and all interested parties shall respond that solicitation announcement separately from the response to this announcement.
