Description

NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Philadelphia intends to procure two new and unused Motorized 65 Ton Capacity molten metal ladles with the capability to remotely tilt them to pour the hot metal into a mold in support of the Naval Foundry and Propeller Center (NFPC) in the Philadelphia Naval Business Center. It is anticipated that this requirement will be evaluated based on price, technical acceptability, corporate experience and past performance. In order to be technically acceptable, a quoter has to meet all the required Salient Characteristics and Certification Standards for these 65 Ton Motorized Ladles. This will be processed on a full and open competitive basis. A firm fixed price type contract will be issued and conducted in accordance with FAR 13.5. The applicable NAIC is 332313. The solicitation N00189-15-R-Z046 will be posted onto the NECO website approximately on Monday 18 May 2015.
