Description

The Government intends to award some open market items on a single source basis as part of eBuy RFQ #978862 for Midmark Exam (625-001) and Procedure Tables (620-020). The RFQ was issued under NAICS 339112, with a size standard of 500 employees, 100% set aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The RFQ was sent to SDVOSB vendors in SIN group A-79 and fair opportunity has been provided to respond to the RFQ. A small amount of open market items were included on the apparent successful offer, approximately 20% of the total Delivery Order value, because the vendor is a SDVOSB this part of the procurement will be single sourced to this vendor as allowed by FAR 19.1405(c). In addition, FAR 8.402(f) allows these items to be included on the GSA Delivery Order for administrative convenience. This requirement is for: Department of Veterans Affairs Jonathan M. Wainwright Memorial VA Medical Center 77 Wainwright, Bldg 80 Walla Walla, WA 99362 This notice satisfies the requirement at FAR 5.201(b)(1), to publicize the proposed contract action.
