- Description
- The purpose of this solicitation is to provide plot inventory and stand examination data. It involves locating and establishing plots, measuring and recording trees, vegetation compositiion and ground surface cover. The contractor will furnish all labor, tools, equipment, trasnportation and incidentals necessary to conduct timber sale examinations. The work performed and the data collection shall be in compliance with the terms, specifications, conditions, and provisions of the solicitation and current version of teh Common Stand Exam Field Guide for Region 1. The Contractor's electronic data shall be transmitted to the USFS FSVEG System. The projects are located on the North Fork, Lochsa and Powell Ranger Districts on the Nez Perce-Clearwater NF. THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE, THE SOLICITATION SHOULD BE AVAILALBE BY MAY 15, 2015.
