- The solicitation will be released on or about May 22, 2015. The U.S. Government is pursuing a long-term, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with firm fixed pricing for the duration of a base period of three (3) years plus two (2) firm fixed priced option years for a potential total of five years with coverage for DLA Direct requirements in the Continental United States (CONUS), and military customers Outside the Continental United States (OCONUS). The solicitation is for DLA managed consumables, for the procurement of certain part numbered items that cross reference to National Stock Numbers (NSNs) identified below. The items will be solicited using Federal Acquisition Regulation Part 15 procedures. There is only one manufacturing source, Tactair Fluid Controls, Inc. (CAGE 70236); therefore, the acquisition will be limited to items manufactured by Tactair Fluid Controls, Inc. Because there is only one manufacturing source, the requirement is being procured with other than full and open competition in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. The statutory authority permitting this is 10 USC 2304 (c)(1). This requirement is being issued as unrestricted and is open for small and large businesses.
