- Description
- The Department of the Air Force, Ramstein AB, Germany intends to make a single purchase order to a qualified company for the Facility Maintenance and Snow Removal at the Ramstein Air Mobility Command Facilities. The Facility Maintenance and Snow Removal will include the following: The contractor shall provide snow removal and facility maintenance (clean/sweep/trash removal) in accordance with (IAW) applicable federal, or host nation rules and regulations, applicable environmental rules and regulations, energy programs, applicable building and safety codes, and federal republic Germany (FRG) Final Governing Standards (FGS). Contractors are requested to thoroughly review all requirements in the performance work statement prior to submission of questions or submitting a quote. The contractor shall provide all management, supervision, necessary equipment and supplies, and trained personnel to perform services to various utilities, buildings and exterior as described in the PWS. The award will be made to the responsible contractor who submits the most advantageous quote to the Government based on lowest price. The Contracting Officer anticipates awarding a firm fixed priced purchase order. The performance period is expected to be a 12 month basic year with four 12 month option years for a total of five years. The solicitation will be available on or about 8 May, 2015 and will be distributed solely through the Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information concerning the acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed through the website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information. All Contractors doing business with the Federal Government shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. The website for registration is at www.sam.gov. The anticipated date for receipt of quotes is on or about 7 June, 2015.
