Description

Sole Source Justification The 1st Special Operations Contracting Squadron at Hurlburt Field FL intends to award a Sole Source purchase order to Pro Sound, Inc. Item 0001-0004: Cisco CTS-C40-K9-Codec, ECDN 8x5 NBD for Codec C40, shipping and installation/programming. This award is unrestricted and is under North American Industry Classification System Code 334310 with a small business size standard of 750 personnel. This sole source action is being accomplished under the authority of FAR 13.501(a). The government believes that Pro Sound, Inc is the only known source that has the patented, proprietary, commercial product and design expertise to install/program these units. This notice is NOT a request for quote. However, interested companies shall submit to the contracting office a brief capabilities statement package (no more than 6 pages in length, single spaced, and 12 point font minimum) demonstrating ability to perform the requested services at or before 4:00 PM (central), 30 April 2015. Any information received will only be considered for the purpose of conducting a competitive procurement. The anticipated contract award number is FA4417-15-P-0064 in the amount of NOT TO EXCEED $135,478.00. Anticipated award is 5 May 2015. The place of performance is Hurlburt Field, FL 32544.
