Description
The Department of the Army, Director of Public Works, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Yakima Training Center, Yakima, Washington, is issuing this Sources Sought (SS) as a means of conducting market research to identify commercial sources capable of providing, a non-personal services contract to provide grounds maintenance services. The intended contract period is for a 1-year base period with four (4) one-year option periods (five years total). Description of services: The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform grounds maintenance services as defined in the Performance Work Statement, the Contractor shall perform to the standards in the contract. The contractor shall provide commercially established grounds maintenance services to improved, semi-improved, and unimproved areas on Yakima Training Center. A (DRAFT) Performance Work Statement (PWS) is provided on pages 4-39. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code assigned to this procurement is 561730. The Sources Sought will determine the availability and capability of qualified businesses capable of providing these services. Based on the responses to this Sources Notice/market research, this requirement may be set-aside for small businesses or procured through full and open competition. A SOURCES SOUGHT QUESTIONNAIRE is below. Responses to the Questionnaire are encouraged from all interested parties. You are advised that providing responses to the questions will not automatically include you in the acquisition process for this solicitation. Please provide any additional feedback in your response that you feel is relevant. Please limit your responses to three (3) pages or less. The Government is not soliciting offers at this time, and it will be the Contracting Officer who will determine which suggested changes are accepted. This is a Sources Sought notice to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources. A solicitation is not currently available. DISCLAIMER: This (SS) is submitted in accordance with 52.215-3, Request for Information or Solicitation for Planning Purposes (Oct 1997). This SS is for planning purposes only and is not a Request for Proposals (RFP), Invitation for Bids (IFB) or as an obligation on the part of the Government to acquire any services. Responses to this SS shall not serve as proposals, bids, or offers and will prelude the Government from forming a binding contract. MICC-JBLM will not accept unsolicited proposals related to the subject of this SS. The responder must clearly identify any information it considers sensitive or proprietary.
