Description
The United States Air Force through Air Force Support Center (AFSC) at Oklahoma City Air Logistics Center (OC-ALC) is intending to procure the line items cited below for a firm-fixed-price (FFP) contract. This is a 100% small business set-aside (competitive after SB restrictions) for the purchase of spare parts. 1. Estimated issue date and estimated closing/response date: Issued 11 May 2015, Closes 11 June 2015. 2. RFP#: FA8119-15-R-0030 3. PR#: FD20301501302 4. Nomenclature/Noun: Aircraft Beam 5. Acquisition Method Code (AMC): 1/G - Suitable for competitive acquisition for the second or subsequent time. The Government has rights to the technical data, the data package is complete, and there are no technical data, engineering, tooling or manufacturing restrictions. (This is the only AMSC that implies that parts are candidates for full and open competition. Other AMSCs such as K, M, N, Q, and S may imply limited competition when two or more independent sources exist yet the technical data package is inadequate for full and open competition.) Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from Offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel.
