Description

Upright Ultra Low Temperature Freezer 1.Objectives and Requirements 1.1General. Purchase of Upright Ultra Low Temperature Freezer 1.2Objectives. Purchase of a -86C freezer. Its capacity must be above 700 L, and we prefer to get it in 1-2 month. 1.3Scope. The freezer needs to be feasible for storage of all kinds of research materials, including fresh mouse and human tissues, prepared RNA and proteins, collected animal urine and serum, frozen cultured cells, DNA constructs, and so on 2. Tasks and Associated Deliverables 2.1. Tasks. The freezer model we chose should be comparable to 25.7 cu. ft (728 L), 115V. 2.2. Key Features: # Low Energy Consumption of 16.5 kwH/day (-80C, 23C ambient) # Cryostorage box capacity of up to 576 two inch boxes # insulated sealing inner doors for temperature stability and reduced ice build-up # Low noise operation of less than 49 dB (A) 2.3. Specifications: # Settable Temperature Control Range of -50C to -86C # Temperature Uniformity of +/- 5C at -80C # Exterior Dimensions (including handle and hinges): 42.4#W x 38.4#D x 78.4#H 2.4. Location of Work. The vendor will ship the freezer to the VA lab. 2.5. Deliverables Schedule. The vendor should ship the freezer out within two weeks after the contract becomes effective. 2.6. Acceptance Criteria. We shall test the freezer for 7 days after it is delivered. If there are any problems, it would be returned to the vendor and the vendor would refund all the payments. THIS IS A REQUEST FOR PRICE QUOTES AS WELL AS PRODUCT AVAILABILITY.
