Description
Vendors must submit a capabilities statement or proof that the units quoted will simultaneously meet the minimal technical requirements: The cold isostatic press (CIP) must meet the following requirements: The CIP system must be able to attain a working pressure of at least 50,000 psi inside a steel (or similar) pressure vessel. The system should require only standard 120/240V power and compressed shop air. The CIP chamber that is placed into pressure should be at least 2 in diameter and 5 long. The vessel should be tested by the manufacturer to ensure it can operate at the specified pressures safely. The system should include an operating manual and setup instructions. The system should include at least a one year limited warranty covering defective parts.
