- 1)This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. II)This solicitation issued as a request for quotations (RFQ). Submit written quotes referencing RFQ AG-447U-S-15-0031. III)The Solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-80. IV) This solicitation a 100% set-aside for small business. The associated NAICS code is 336211. The small business size standard is 1000 employees. V) This combined synopsis/solicitation is for the following items: Plese furnish price for: Item #1 Retrofit a 2010 Navistar Transport with heavy duty rigid bed Item #2 Removal of lightweight bed and components from 2010 Navistar Transport Description: The Forest Service has a 2010 Navistar Transport with a Ledwell rollback light duty bed. Price will be based on retrofitting the rollback light duty bed with a heavy duty rigid bed along with price for the removal of existing bed and components. Vendor to furnish price for line item 1 and 2. Vendor location shall be within a 300 radius of the address: Davy Crockett Ranger District Office, 18551 State Highway 7 East, Kennard, TX 75847 Delivery Time - Furnish delivery time for completion upon receipt of transport. VII) FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commerical Items. (APR 2014) applies to this acquisition. VIII) FAR 52.212-2 - Evaluation-Commercial Item (OCT 2014) applies to this acquisition. Offers will be evaluated on price and the proposed delivery date. The government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government and presents the best value, price and other factors considered. IX) The offeror must submit a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications - Commercial Items (MAR 2014), with its quote or complete the Representations and Certifications on line at www.sam.gov (this is a free site, if you get a site that asks for a credit card you are at the wrong site). X) The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial (DEC 2014) applies to this acquisition.
