Description

The U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO) intends to award a sole source contract for secure, destruction, and shredding of highly sensitive and secure aluminum plates and whole sheets of aluminum sheets to Data Killers. Turtle Wings, Inc/Data Killers 1771 Olive Street Capitol Heights, MD 20743 Fax: (443) 346-0208is a WBENC Certified-Woman Owned Small Business. The GSA Contract # is GS-10F-0134V. Under the authority of USC 2304(c)(1) pursuant to MMAR 6.302.1(a)(1)(ii)(A) "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements", for this highly specialized requirement. When it is likely to award to any other source would result in substantial duplication of cost in quality control that is not expected to be recovered through competition. This notice is neither a request for proposals nor a solicitation for offers. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. All responses shall be sent to James Sisson, Acquisition Analyst, Contractor-CACI, at jsisson@GPO.gov on or before April 24, 2015, no later than 3:00 pm, DST
