Description
The systems shall be permanent, fully automated, pressure (not volumetric) leak detection systems, and will be used for tightness, testing the hydrant loop pipeline and/or transfer pipelines. The system shall be US EPA Third Party Certified with a Probability of Detection greater than or equal to 95 percent and a Probability of False Alarm of less than or equal to 5 percent. Equipment shall be compatible with other aviation fuel mechanical equipment, fuel pump control and annunciation systems. Test results shall be unaffected by the temperature change of the fuel and have a maximum test period of one hour. The requirement encompasses the complete life cycle of support from development, design, installation, test and certification through integration, operator training, sustainment and disposal.
