Description

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. No Solicitation is currently available. The VA Northern California Healthcare System will be issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) to award a construction contract to a General Contractor for Project 612-125, Neurocognitive TBI Research Building which will include the demolition of an existing structure and the construction of a parking lot. The project location is the Martinez Outpatient Clinic at 150 Muir Road, Martinez, CA 94533. It is anticipated that the request for proposal (RFP) will be released on/about June 30, 2015. At this point in the procurement process, the Department of Veterans Affairs is performing market research to determine contractor socio-economic category, e.g. Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business, Veteran Owned Small Business, 8(a) etc. and, bonding capacity. Interested firms should send, by e-mail only, the following information: Socio-Economic Category; DUNS number; Maximum bonding capability for a single bid and; total maximum bonding capacity. Information shall be sent to denard.fobbs@va.gov by close of business April 20, 2015 at 1500 PST. Estimated construction cost is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. Information received will be used in any set aside determination. The NAICS code for this procurement will be 236220.
