Description

This Pre-solicitation Amendment, dated 4/9/2015, is being issued to dissolve the 100% Small Business Set-aside initially planned for this acquisition. The solicitation is hereby revised to Full and Open (unrestricted) Competition, based on the lack of sufficient small business participation. Additionally, the posting and closing date for the formal solicitation is being revised as noted below. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 18, intends to issue a Request for Proposal for an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract for Ground Ambulance Services. The period of performance will be for one (1) Year from date of award. The Contract shall furnish ground ambulance transport services for the New Mexico VA Health Care System (NMVAHCS), 24 hours per day, seven (7) days per week,. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) remains as 621910, Ambulance Services. Solicitation number VA258-15-R-0392, will be posted on or about April 14, 2015. The date for receipt of offers shall be April 27, 2015. Questions concerning this solicitation should be directed to Enrique Rivera (Enrique.Rivera@va.gov), with the email subject "VA258-15-R-0392, Ground Ambulance Services - NMVAHCS". All questions must be sent formally by email no later than close of business on April 10, 2015.
