Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number VA261-15-Q-0488 is hereby issued as a Request for Quote. This combined synopsis/solicitation and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-80 effective 02 March 2015. This acquisition is solicited as a 100% set aside for: - Small Business Concerns The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 811219, Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance. The size standard for this NAICS is $20.5 million. Please see the attached solicitation for: 1. A list of contract line items numbers, quantities, and items; 2.A Statement of work; and 3.Period of performance. The following provisions and clauses apply to this solicitation and will remain in full force in any resultant award: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation - Commercial Items FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statute or Executive Orders - Commercial Items Offerors are required to include a completed copy of the provision FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certifications - Commercial Items with their quote. The clauses listed above are included in this synopsis pursuant to FAR 12.603(c). However, please see the attached solicitation for all applicable clauses and provisions. Interested offerors shall submit quotes to Nicole Do at Nicole.do@va.gov no later than April 17, 2015 at 8:00 AM PST. Please refer to FAR 52.212-1and 52.212-2 in the attached solicitation for instructions and evaluation criteria.
