Description
The Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Hampton, Virginia is seeking potential sources capable of providing preventative maintenance on ARJO Maxi Sky 600 Model LD10011pateint ceiling lifts. The requirements will be performed by certified trained personnel capable of performing inspection and testing at a minimum on all items contained in the ARJO preventative maintenance schedule and VA hospital corrective and preventative maintenance checklist for ceiling mounted patient lifts. Also perform additional test as mandated by the manufacturer to include but not limited to basic maintenance package, changing lift belts out, certify and weight test each system, load test battery, verify functions of lift, and emergency push button and pull cord, check end stops on track and, all nuts and bolts on support structure as needed and restore /repair patient lift to fully functional operational status. Moreover, be able to perform load test and inspect on all rails of patient overhead lift device annually. These inspections and repairs will be performed on structural, mechanical and electrical components. Responses to this sources sought notice should include the following: name and address of company, business size (large or small), identify whether or not firm falls into any of the following socioeconomic categories 8(a), HUBZone, Service Disable Veteran-Owned, firms, experience in preventive maintenance on ARJO Maxi Sky 600 Model LD10011 patient lifts. All responses shall be submitted via e-mail no later than Noon 15 April 2015 local time to the attention of Terry Brooks, terry.brooks3@va.gov
