- Draft PWS SOURCES SOUGHT. This is a Request for Information (RFI) from interested sources and response to this RFI is voluntary and at the contractor's expense. The Government is seeking qualified small business concerns with specific and recent experience in Category Management. Large businesses are also encouraged to participate in order to establish the acquisition strategy. In addition, the possibility of teaming arrangements in which an acquisition strategy can be set-aside 100% for small business is. The General Services Administration, Washington DC area is requesting interested companies who can assist the Government in this requirement. The draft Solicitation is attached to this synopsis. Industry responses to this RFI may determine the Government's acquisition strategy. DO NOT SEND YOUR COMPANY BROCHURE OR A GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WHAT SERVICES YOUR COMPANY OFFERS. Questions within the Draft PWS can be asked specific with sections number references, page numbers, the specific question. Your company will not receive an answer back, it will allow the Government to determine if anything needs to be revised prior to issuing an anticipated solicitation. Responses shall address the following: (1) The contractor's specific working experience with Category Management that is relevant to this effort; (2) The contractor's specify how they could provide the required services (Reference Section C.3.0 through C.7 ; (3) A reference list of related contracts or experience within the past three (3) years, to include contract number, dollar value, a brief description of services, and points of contact with phone number and email address; (4) Information related to the contractor's business size and socioeconomic status; (5) For Small Businesses only: Are you capable of successfully accomplishing tasks outlined in the PWS, either through a teaming arrangement or with your own resources; (6) For Small Businesses only: If you responded yes to Question 5, at what dollar value or number of contract actions or total dollar value (task orders) would you have the capacity to successfully accomplish the tasks outlined in the PWS? (7) Information related to any proposed teaming partners/arrangements, if anticipated; (8) Comments regarding proposed NAICS 541611 (Administrative Management and General Management Consultant) or a recommendation of another NAICS; (9) Any other specific information about your company that could determine that your company meets the capabilities. (10) How many companies do you think could work together in an IDIQ or BPA acquisition? (11 What specific working experience do you have with GSA? (12) What experience do you have in accomplishing the tasks in the phases of the operating model? (13) Explain if there are other questions that the Government needs to be concerned with? This synopsis is for information and planning purposes only, and it does not constitute a solicitation and should not be construed as a commitment of any kind by the Government to issue a solicitation or award a contract. Interested parties having the required experience and skills to meet all the above requirements are invited to submit a written capability statement with the specific questions addressed above to susan.humann@gsa.gov and dustin.teal@gsa.govby 24 April 2015 at 13:00 Central Time. Any Firms interested in receiving RFQ through GSA either in an Open Market must be properly registered in IT Solutions Shop (ITSS). The Government may revise its acquisition strategy and solicitation requirement based upon industry responses. Contractors are responsible for all costs for submitting their capabilities packages.
