Description

PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE DESCRIPTION This solicitation was previously posted on e-Buy and FBO as a small business set-aside. This Notice is being posted as this is an urgent requirement and the solicitation posting period shall accordingly be short. This shall be an unrestricted solicitation. The VA has a requirement to provide Gastroenterlogy / Endoscopy / Colonoscopy Services to the Lexington VA Medical Center (VAMC). Services are to be provided on-site at the Lexington VAMC in Lexington, KY. The Lexington VAMC needs up to 2 FTEE to work Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm while they recruit permanent staff, however funding is only available at the present time for 1 FTEE. The solicitation shall include an option to increase the quantity. It is possible that on-call services may be added to the requirement. The period of performance shall be for a period of six-month with 3 option periods of six-month each included. Services may be reduced upon giving at least a 90-day notice if permanent staff are located and hired. All providers shall be licensed physicians who are experienced Gastroenterologists, and shall be required to provide all services outlined in the Statement of Work.
