- The Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC) is contemplating to procure the manufacture of the Line Items cited below for a FFP Indefinite Delivery/Indefinite Quantity follow-on requirements contract for a total maximum quantity of 4,996 each of Mainshaft #1, #2, #3 and #4 Roller Bearing Cylinders to support the F100-229 engine. 1. Estimated issue date and estimated closing/response date: Is sued: 27 March 2015, Closes: 13 Apr 2015 2. PR#: FD2030-15-00216 (USAF), FD2030-15-30623 (FMS) 3. Service: Repair 4. Item: Mainshaft #1, #2, #3 and #4 Roller Bearing Cylinders 5. NSN: 3110-00-416-9422NZ, 3110-00-345-6121NZ, 3110-00-345-6018NZ, 3110-01-137-2472NZ 6. PN: 4035597, 4037050, 4035594, 4059349 7. Description: Mainshaft #1, #2, #3 and #4 Roller Bearing Cylinders for the F100-PW-220/229W engine 8. Total Line Item Quantity : 4,996 ea. total maximum quantity 9. AMC Code : 1/B Sources must be qualified prior to award. To be eligible for contract award, the offeror must be an approved source IAW FAR 52.209-1, Qualification Requirements. The Government is not required to delay contract award to review pending Source Approval Requests (SARS). Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SARs as soon as possible. Currently approved sources: Canadian Commercial Corporation SKF USA Timken FAG Aerospace Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. IAW FAR 5.207 (c) (15) (ii), all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. NOTE: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from Offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source of concern. The Ombudsman does not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process.
