- P15PS00803 This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS / SOLICITATION for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The National Park Service contemplates award of a firm fixed price contract as a result of this combined synopsis/solicitation to the vendor; providing the best value to the Government. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation issued as Request for Quotation (RFQ) P14PS00803. A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. FAR clauses and provisions enclosed within this RFQ are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-80 and are available in full text through Internet access at http:// www.acquisition.gov/far/. This requirement is set aside for total small business. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 212319 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. This Acquisition may result in a firm fixed price contract. The acquisition is in support of Glacier National Park and is for crushed gravel. Glacier National Park has a requirement for 5,400 tons of 3/4 inch minus crushed gravel. Gravel will be delivered to Glacier National Park Headquarters Area in West Glacier, MT 59936 on or before June 30, 2015. Weigh tickets shall be submitted with each load. Gravel must be certified weed free by National Park Service Staff. Offeror shall submit name and address of gravel pit. National Park Service staff will inspect gravel pits after closing of the solicitation time period and before award decision is made.
