Description

The United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) has a requirement for the turnkey design, supply and installation of Audio Visual (A/V) updates and improvements, including Cisco telepresence equipment, to the A/V capabilities of hearing rooms, conference rooms, and other meeting spaces across the Alexandria, VA campus and Arlington, VA sub-offices. The USPTO anticipates award of one or more blanket purchase agreement (BPA) for (A/V) Equipment on or about April 15, 2015. USPTO is exempt from the Competition in Contracting Act under the Patent and Trademark Office Efficiency Act, 35 U.S.C. 2(b)(4)(A) and the subject requirement is being procured using the Alternative Competition Method as described in the Patent and Trademark Office Acquisition Guidelines (PTAG). In accordance with the PTAG, the USPTO has conducted market research and identified a limited number of vendors, which are CISCO resellers, most likely to successfully meet the agency's needs. As a result, the solicitation will only be issued to the limited number of qualified vendors.
